The Wiltshire winemaking outfit of Nicola and Daniel Ham, Offbeat was initially established as a side project in 2018, but following the success of the first two vintages it became a full-time family operation, with grapes from their own vines as well as others from like-minded growers around the UK vinified at their winery in a converted barn on Botley Farm near Salisbury.
Nicola and Daniel work as naturally as possible, primarily with hybrid varieties suited to the English climate. Ferments are wild, little if any sulphur is used, and production is small with only around 2,000 bottles of each cuvée made.
Having followed Offbeat's journey since the beginning we're thrilled to be joined by Nicola who will be pouring six of their cuvées. These will include Common Ground - a pét nat made in collaboration with Paris Barghchi - and two new still releases Magic Number and Many Moons.
