The domaine of Bénédicte & Stéphane Tissot is widely regarded as one of the very best in Jura, and the Tissot family more generally is widely known in the region for its long tradition of winemaking. Bénédicte & Stéphane converted the domaine to organics in 1999 and biodynamics shortly after, with the focus on pure expressions of terroir. The whites are characterised by a signature smoky reductive quality on the nose and immense power on the palate while the reds are fragrant and ethereal.

This is Savagnin in the oxidative style, aged for 3 years in barrel under a veil of flor yeast. Vivid, saline and massively long with tart citrus and apple aromas supported by a plethora of nut, spice and mineral characteristics.
