Benoît Moreau is one of the hottest up-and-coming producers in Chassagne, first taking over the domaine of his father Bernard alongside is brother Alex before the siblings decided to split the domaine in 2020. Benoît has a total of 4 hectares of vines and is a proponent of biodynamics and cutting-edge farming methods such as tressage – the complex practice of braiding the vine canopy.

This is his Bourgogne Chardonnay from vines near Chassagne, and punches well above its Bourgogne label. Taut, mineral and long with enticing reduction and crystalline citrus fruit.
