Jean-Baptiste Menigoz of Domaine Les Bottes Rouges began his working life in Arbois as a special needs teacher before becoming increasingly interested in natural wine through his good friend and esteemed Jura vigneron Raphael Monnier of Ratapoil. Jean-Baptiste now has 7 hectares of organic vines around Arbois and works with native yeast and no sulphur or other additions for all his wines.

La Pépée is Pinot Noir from vines grown in clay soils and bottled without filtration. A floral and perfumed expression of Jura Pinot with violet and lavender aromas supported by dark berry fruit and spice.
