Maison Valette is based in Chaintré in the south of Burgundy between Mâcon and Beaujolais. In total there is 8 hectares under vine all worked organically since the early 1990s. Harvesting is done by hand and the wines undergo long barrel ageing in old oak before bottling without fining filtration or sulphur.

This is the sublime Pouilly Fuissé from the 2016 vintage. A rich and beguiling southern Burgundy with great weight and tension, and aromas of hazelnuts, lemon curd, baking spices and pastry.
