Château de Béru has been making wine for over 400 years from some of the finest parcels in Chablis, some of which are known to have been under vine since the 9th century. Current custodians Laurence de Béru and her daughter Athénaïs converted the domaine to organics in 2005 and began conversion to biodynamics in 2010, taking the wines made in the famed oyster shell littered Kimmeridgian soils to another level of purity and finesse.

The jewel in the Béru crown, the Clos Béru Monopole is from a single parcel of walled vines demarcated by monks in the 12th century. With a prime south-south west exposition, this is one of the finest expressions of Chardonnay in Chablis with exquisite purity of fruit, sublime minerality and tremendous power, with each sip revealing a different facet of this exhilarating wine.
