Amélie Berthaut is a winemaker on the rise, first taking over her father's Fixin vineyard in 2013, before taking over her mother's Vosne-Romanée vines in 2015 and combining the two to create Domaine Berthaut-Gerbet. Extractions are gentle with de-stemming the norm, and the wines are approachable in their youth while maintaining excellent long term potential.

This is the 2017 Vosne-Romanée from three parcels in this esteemed village appellation. With some age the oak (one-third new) has integrated beautifully to create a gorgeous Vosne with floral tones, dark berry fruit, elegant spice and a savoury edge.
