The domaine of Jean-Marc Roulot is one of the most iconic in Meursault with the top bottlings some of the most sought after in the appellation. From the excellent 2015 vintage, this is the Roulot Monthélie from a .36 hectare of vines planted in the 1980s in clay limestone soils. The grapes were destemmed and vinified in open top wooden cuves before ageing for a year in a mixture of new and old oak barrels.

Gorgeous strawberry and black cherry fruit with lifted floral notes of violets and rose petals. Complex tertiary notes of wet leaves and leather come to the fore on the palate indicating this is in its prime drinking window.
