Catharina Sadde of Les Horées began her career as a chef in her native Germany, working in Michelin star kitchens, before re-training as a winemaker with some of the greatest estates in Burgundy: Domaine de la Romanée Conti, Domaine Comte Armand, Marquis d’Angerville, and Cécile Tremblay. She is an enthusiastic practitioner of biodynamics, and has a penchant for low-sulphur and whole bunch work in the cellar.
Intensely juicy yet serious Village level red Burgundy from Beaune. Fresh raspberries and riper strawberries. Bright and effortlessly poised on the palate with lovely black tea and smoky aromas to complement the dense red fruit.
