The Pierre Gonon estate is widely considered to be the best in Saint Joseph, making wines of great finesse, haunting aromatics and serious longevity. Now run by Pierre's sons Jean and Pierre junior, the wines continue to go from strength to strength and we are delighted to have received a small parcel of 2019s.

The St Joseph Rouge is Syrah that includes about a third from an 80 year old plot from Raymond Trollat in St Jean de Muzols. Intense, concentrated and savoury wine with typical blackberry fruit and plenty of black olive and liquorice in support. For drinking now until 2030.
