Grenache from vines planted in the 1950s in the deep granite soils of Dehesa de Navayuncosa in Aldea del Fresno. Grapes were whole-bunch macerated for 50 days with spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel before ageing for 12 months in large old barrels. An elegant, ethereal wine with perfumed floral aromas and fresh flavours of wild strawberry and rhubarb. The palate is focussed with a herbal undertone and incredibly mineral core, followed by a long and persistent finish.
