Château Bas d'Aumelas is a stunning 16th century estate located high up among the garrigue of the Hérault, and has been in the hands of its current custodians - the D'Albenas family - since the 18th century. Produced organically, these are emphatically terroir driven wines characterised by supple fruit, great freshness and the flavours and aromas of the garrigue.

This is the Château Bas blanc made from 60% Grenache, 35% Roussanne and 5% Viognier. A full and generous wine with plenty of elegance. A golden yellow colour with green highlights, the nose is predominantly mineral, with white flowers and sun-ripened peaches. Round and ripe on the palate with a delicate bitterness that adds a pleasing sapidity.
