Château Bas d'Aumelas is a stunning 16th century estate located high up among the garrigue of the Hérault, and has been in the hands of its current custodians - the D'Albenas family - since the 18th century. Produced organically, these are emphatically terroir driven wines characterised by supple fruit, great freshness and the flavours and aromas of the garrigue.
This is the Château Bas Rouge made from 70% Grenache, 25% Syrah and 5% Mourvèdre. Complex, concentrated and rich with ripe blackberry and plum, black pepper, liquorice and mint aromas.
