Owing to a tough vintage Un Phare Dans La Tempête or "A Lighthouse in the Storm" is composed of all the red varieties the domaine grows: Fer Servadou, Cabernet Franc, Jurançon Noir, Negret de Banhars, & Mouyssaguès. Hand-harvested and semi-carbonically macerated, the grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation and tank aging before bottling unfined. It's lean and taut, with aromas of brambly fruit with earthy notes, followed by fresh forest fruits and spice on the palate.
