Domaine du Météore is a unique Faugères estate located atop a 200 metre wide crater that was created when a meteorite crashed into the area 10,000 years ago. The low-yielding vines grow in rocky schist soils that force the roots to delve deep in search of nutrients and imbue the wines with pronounced minerality. Winemaking is low intervention with the domaine certified organic and working towards biodynamic certification. 

The Perséides is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre with the Grenache fermented and aged in stainless steel and the Syrah and Mourvèdre in old Burgundy barrels. Deep and inky with spicy blackberry and liquorice notes overlaid with hints of mint and bay.
