Domaine Garnier is a 23 hectare estate based in Ligny-le-Châtel at the very northern tip of the Chablis appellation. Yields are 10% lower than used by most growers in the appellation, only indigenous yeasts are used for the fermentation, and the wines undergo a long élevage before bottling.

This is from vines planted in 1985 in the famous Kimmeridgian soils of the region. An intensely mineral wine with vivid oyster, iodine and saline notes to the fore and piercing citrus fruit developing on the palate.
