Longarico is the wine making project of Alessandro Viola and Luigi Stalteri, two Sicilian natives who have returned home after wine careers in Piemonte and Bologna. They have a couple of hectares in Alcamo at the north-west of the island which they farm organically, fermenting with wild yeasts and eschewing fining or filtration.

Notsrale is a beautiful expression of the Catarratto variety that thrives here. Crisp apple and pear fruit with touches of wild herbs, nougat and chalky minerality.
