Craig Hawkins is one of the stars of South African natural winemaking who together with Johan Meyer (Mother Rock) and Jurgen Gouws (Intellego) has built a movement from the ground up in Swartland.

Mielie is a new cuvée for us, a pure and taut Chenin Blanc named after Craig's daughter Millie, Mielie also being the Afrikaans word for corn. Lovely old vine Chenin minerality and drive with creamy apple, pear and light honey aromas.
