Timothée Stroebel Coteaux Champenois Le Vin Tranquille
Country: France
Region: Champagne
Grapes: Pinot Meunier
Vintage: 2020
Timothée Stroebel's family originally came from Alsace, settling in Champagne after the Second World War and planting their first vines in the early 60’s in Villers Allerand, a small 1er cru village tucked in Montagne de Reims, where they still farm today.
With a production of less than 3,000 bottles, this is Timothées ultra rare Coteaux Champenois made from 100% Pinot Meunier from the lieu-dit of 'Les Cumines', planted by his grandfather in 1964. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in oak barrels for 18 months before bottling without filtration or sulphur.
