Luka Zeichmann is a talented young winemaker in the village of Jois in middle Burgenland, Austria. Working in parallel to his 'Joiseph' collaboration with Richard Artner and Alex Kagl which was founded in 2015, this new project finds Luka making wines under his own name in a small area an hour South of Jois.

Ujča Hendrik Vino Za Legende is a negoce wine using organic and biodynamic grown grapes from villages near Luka’s hometown of Unterpullendorf. It's a deliciously light red made from many different varieties including Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, Blauer Portugieser, grown in a mixed, field blend vineyard and harvested and vinified together. Macerated for just 4 days the wine is transferred to old 500L barrels for 9 months before bottling unfined, unfiltered, and with a tiny sulphur addition. Crunchy, juicy and spicy, this has all the hallmarks of the Zeichmann style.
