Dominique Lucas of Les Vignes de Paradis has 6 hectares of vines overlooking Lake Geneva in the Haut-Savoie which he farms according to biodynamics. These are pure, terroir-driven wines with each of his 27 plots harvested and vinified separately.

This is Dominique's Altesse (Roussette) from extremely low yielding 60 year old vines grown in granite. Fermented and aged in a concrete egg, this is more lifted than the Chasellas with fragrant white flowers, ripe pears and nectarine aromas. Taut, mineral and saline on the palate with a pithy grapefruit acidity and a savoury, biscuit note on the finish.
