Raphael Monnier’s Ratapoil wines are some of the most sought after in Jura and there's never enough to go around, in part because the treacherous growing conditions in Jura mean Raphael regularly loses much of his crop to frost and hail.

Va Donc is Chardonnay from a single plot of vines grown in limestone. It's powerful and intense with the zippy green apple and lemon zest acidity well balanced by savoury pastry and spice notes from time in old oak.
