Arnaud Lopez has been hard at work in the cellars of Prieuré Roch. While still at Prieuré Roch to this day, Arnaud has starting bottling his own production, working with grapes sourced from trusted friends and growers, all of whom farm organically or with biodynamic principles. In the cellar he vinifies using whole clusters, favouring long macerations and minimising any sort of intervention. The resulting wines are unique, both dense and mineral, pleasant in youth but certainly made to last over the years.
Pinot Blanc from grapes that are sourced from trusted grower friends farming organically in the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits. Pinot Blanc is relatively rare in Burgundy, making this cuvée a true curiosity. A gorgeous, hazy golden amber hue in the glass due to the skin contact and lack of filtration, it opens with intensely aromatic notes of white flowers, dried citrus peel, and bruised orchard fruits, underpinned by an earthy, wild yeast character and a touch of warm spice.
