Svitlo (meaning 'the light') was a project undertaken out of a cry for help from Ukraine. New Zealand based founder Alex

spent months traveling the country in 2022, eventually finding the country's best spirit producer in the central region of Cherkasy and partnered on a mission - to export as much of the best vodka as possible out of Ukraine's invincible distilleries. 

The Black Earth soils of central Ukraine are among the richest in the world. Fertilized with post glacial forests, the country is renowned for its abundant, quality grains. These grains have been harvested and distilled into the purest vodka for generations. Svitlo harnesses this provenance to create a vodka so evenly balanced and smooth it can rival any.
