Dirk Niepoort is one of the most significant figures in modern Portuguese wine, not just in terms of his pioneering winemaking but as a champion and benefactor of smaller, quality driven producers across the country.

A blend of more than 8 different grape varieties, including Touriga Nacional & Touriga Franca, the Senior Tawny Reserve is aged for seven years in small oak barrels resulting in a  brick red tawny appearance. It has a velvety mouth feel with a fine blend of old wines giving richness balanced with younger wines giving freshness and complexity. Traditional notes of orange rind & cherry, balanced with beautiful nuttiness.
