Renaud Boyer Ratafia De Bourgogne
Renaud Boyer has around 5 hectares of vines split across Puligny, Saint-Romain and Beaune, vinifying the wines in his grandfather's old cellar in Meursault. The fruit is grow organically, all vineyard work is done by hand and horse, and the wines are bottled without fining, filtration or added sulphur.
This is Renaud's Ratafia de Bourgogne, a 16% fortified wine in the style of Macvin du Jura in which around two-thirds un-fermented grape juice with one-third marc or brandy.
