Alexandre Giquel is a native of the Loire Valley, learning his trade from a number of organic winemakers in the area before setting up on his own. In total he has just over 3 hectares of vines growing in clay with silex which he farms by hand.

Gallus is Alexandre's top wine from Chenin Blanc vines with an average age of 90 years. Intense concentration, power and texture with struck match reduction giving way to exotic spice, green apple, pastry and smoke.
