Benoit Camus lives in a caravan on the middle of 4 hectares of Gamay and Chardonnay vines in the south of Beaujolais. He has made wine here since 2006 but until recently it was all sold on to be bottled under the negotiant labels of friends. He now bottles his own wine, working the vines organically and bottling everything without any filtration or additions.

Vagabond is Gamay selected from some of Benoit's oldest plots, some up to 60 years old. This shows the deeper, more complex side of Beaujolais with intense minerality, vivid herb, and spicy dark fruit aromas but with a suppleness to that palate is quintessentially Gamay.
