Black Mountain Col Fondo
Grapes: Siegerrebe, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir
A tropical and zesty English col fondo style sparkling wine made in Herefordshire from organically grown Siegerrebe, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir. The grapes were handpicked before fermentation with native yeasts and around a third of the Siegerrebe was left on skins for added texture. As is the col fondo style, the lees remain in the bottle after the second fermentation which adds richness and leaves the wine lightly cloudy. Elderflower, peach and apricot aromas abound and there's touches of toast and hazelnut. An action packed wine, all at only 10% ABV.
