Christian Boulanger has been working with the Labets for 15 years and is part of the family, a third sibling for Charline, Romain and Julien. Christian and his friend Mathieu Allante have been gathering small parcels over the years, patiently waiting for opportunities, leasing, buying, clearing land and recovering abandoned vineyards. Now across their two cellars they produce beautiful biodynamically farmed wines.
Harvested from old Chardonnay vines growing in calcareous clay and limestone marl soils - the same famous lieu-dit in the Sud-Rêvermont made legendary by Ganevat and Labet. The "V" in Cuvée V stands for Varrons. Spontaneously fermented with native yeasts in old oak barrels, the wine then undergoes extended aging on fine lees (typically 18–24 months).
