Renaud Bruyère and Adeline Houillon have a tiny domaine of just 4.5 hectares in the village of Pupillin, gaining a reputation for some pure and memorable expressions of Chardonnay, Savagnin and Poulsard which they make along biodynamic principles.

La Croix Rouge is Chardonnay from a single parcel grown in clay-limestone soils, hand-harvested, wild fermented in in old oak barrels and bottled without filtration, fining, or added sulphur. Hugely energetic and precise, displaying crisp orchard fruits (green apple, citrus, lemon curd), white flowers, wet stone minerality, subtle nuttiness, and vibrant acidity.
