Catherine and Dominique Derain are true legends in Burgundy, with winemaking careers 40 years long and counting. Starting in the 1970s as a cooper (barrel maker) Dominique worked in famous cellars in Puligny Montrachet, Alsace and Beaujolais before settling in Saint-Aubin where along with wife Catherine he has produced thrilling biodynamic wines since the 1990s.

From the rocky soils of the En Remilly Premier Cru just a stones throiw from Puligny-Montrachet, this is richer and broader than previous vintages reflecting the warm 2020 growing conditions. Toasted hazelnut, brioche and creamy fruit aromas with superb texture and length.
