Aurélien, Thierry and Christian Laherte make Champagne just to the south of Epernay, in an area that falls between the Côte des Blancs and Vallée de la Marne. In total they have 10 hectares of vines made up of 75(!) individual parcels.

Ultradition is largely Pinot Meunier (60%) with Chardonnay (30%) and Pinot Noir (10%) vinified in a mixture of foudre, oak barrel and vat. A complex, saline wine with crystaline citrus fruit, chalky minerality and plenty of opulent, toasty lees character.
