Château de Béru has been making wine for over 400 years from some of the finest parcels in Chablis, some of which are known to have been under vine since the 9th century. Current custodians Laurence de Béru and her daughter Athénaïs converted the domaine to organics in 2005 and began conversion to biodynamics in 2010, taking the wines made in the famed oyster shell littered Kimmeridgian soils to another level of purity and finesse.

Côte Aux Pretres is Chardonnay from 35-40 year old vines grown at 300m altitude of the Béru hillside. Aged for a year in old oak then a further year in stainless steel, it's intense and very mineral with plenty of savoury richness coming through on the long, balanced finish.
