Clemens Busch has been a pioneer of organic and biodynamic winemaking in Mosel since the 1970s. With his wife Rita he now farms 25 hectares of Riesling vines, predominantly in the south west facing hillside vineyard of Marienburg and vinifies each plot of vines separately according to the slate (grey, red or blue) in which they grow.

From the same batch as the Trocken riesling, the Halbtrocken has a touch more residual sugar which brings more texture and fruit weight to the wine. Look out for pear, grapefruit and white peach on the nose, and zesty energy on the palate.
