Olivier Lejeune is a winemaker who travelled the world learning his craft before settling himself at the heart of the Loire Valley’s Anjou, where was trained by renowned producer of Chenin Mark Angeli. He is a believer in regenerative farming, aiming to do the absolute minimum amount of ploughing (if any at all), and working with principles of agroforestry as well as introducing animals into the parcels and much more.
Beautifully balanced Chenin with a name in Maori meaning 'stick to it', a nod to New Zealand where Olivier studied viticulture and began his winemaking career. As fresh as it is rich with almost tropical notes on the nose, a savoury mushroom note, fresh citrus and a steely mineral edge.
