Maria and Alexander Koppitsch have been making natural wine in Burgenland since 2011 when they took over Alex's father's vineyards. They practice biodynamics in the vineyards and work with minimal intervention in the winery - no temperature control, fining, filtration or sulphur.
Ret is a super juicy blend of predominantly Zweigelt with some Blaufrankisch that spend 14 months in acacia wood barrels. Enticing cranberry, red cherry and raspberry aromas with some darker notes from the Blaufrankisch and a crack of black pepper.
