Dirk Niepoort is one of the most significant figures in modern Portuguese wine, not just in terms of his pioneering winemaking but as a champion and benefactor of smaller, quality driven producers across the country.

Tawny Dee uses grapes from low yielding vineyards in the Cima Corgo region of the Douro Valley, and spends on average three and a half years ageing in barrels before release. All the nutty, dried fruit and nutty aromas you'd expect, but also some freshness and more youthful fruit flavours.
