Ovum Big Salt
Grapes: Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Muscat
Ksenija and John House of Ovum make low intervention white wines from organically grown grapes in Newburg, Oregon. Fermentation is with native yeasts and the wine undergo long lees ageing to give texture and complexity.
Big Salt is lifted, aromatic blend Riesling and Gewurztraminer with a touch of Muscat. Souk spice, melon and ripe stone fruit on the nose with plenty of sea spray salinity and a silky, mouth-coating texture from the lees.
