Pierre Luneau and Monique Papin set up the Domaine Luneau-Papin in 1993, bringing together two families who have produced wine in the Loire since 1680 and 1660 respectively. Their son Pierre-Marie (who is the eighth generation of the family to be a vigneron) joined them in the family venture in 2005 and converted the estate to organics.

This is their newly released Muscadet made from hand-harvested Melon de Bourgogne aged on the lees for 7 months. A taut and linear wine with pure citrus and steely mineral notes accompanied by fine texture and touches of hay and toast on the palate.
