Costadila is an exciting natural wine project in Treviso, an area where industrial bulk Prosecco production rules. Here Ernesto Cattel bucks the trend, vinifying small parcels of organic vines into separate cuvees based on the vineyard altitude.
The Costadila Rosso is made from a blend of Merlot, Refosco and Cabernet Franc. It's fresh and crunchy with darker plum and cassis notes from the Merlot, lightly floral notes from the Refosco and a snap of fresh herbs from the Cab Franc.
