Benoit Courault makes his wine in Faye d’Anjou where since 2006 he has converted centuries old vineyards to biodynamic farming. The land is worked by hand (and horse) with wild fermentations, low yields, and no fining or filtration.
Les Tabeneaux is a blend of around two-thirds Cabernet Franc and one-third Grolleau. A fruity and supple wine with great texture and that ineffable savoury funkiness that only the great natural wines can possess.
