From Fabrice Dodane of Domaine de Saint Pierre - one of the Jura’s most respected and quietly brilliant vignerons - this is a pure expression of Savagnin grown on the limestone and marl slopes around Arbois. The vines are farmed organically, and winemaking is resolutely natural: native yeast fermentation, long ageing, no fining, filtration or added sulphur.

The cuvée Autrement is aged under a light veil (sous voile), lending subtle oxidative complexity while retaining freshness and drive. The result is a deeply mineral, textured white with notes of preserved lemon, green almond, hay and sea salt, all balanced by a taut, saline finish. A precise and contemplative Jura wine - vivid, savoury and alive.
