Peter Gierszewski of Domaine de Thalie has 4.5 hectares of vines around the village of Cluny in the Macon where he grows the usual Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Aligoté, and less usual Syrah and Gamay. Peter works organically in the vineyard and vinifies naturally in the cellar with no additions save for a little sulphur at bottling when necessary.

Atout Vent is Chardonnay from vines growing in clay-limestone at 400m above sea level. A chiseled, mineral driven Macon with chalky citrus and green apple fruit, light spice and savoury hints of hazelnut and toast.
