True to its name, this wine feels like a racehorse raring to go. It trades a bit of Silex’s fierce, smoky austerity for a more voluptuous, deeply textured, and expressive personality. It bursts from the glass with a gorgeous bouquet of white peach, candied citrus peel, white flowers, and a hint of exotic spice. Thanks to Dagueneau's legendary use of custom, cigar-shaped oak barrels, the palate is breathtakingly silky and rich, yet perfectly balanced by a striking, electric vein of acidity.

Blended from four distinct parcels of younger vines (ranging from 5 to 20 years old) grown on flinty clay and limestone marl, this is the ultimate introduction to the Dagueneau portfolio. It opens with a gorgeous, high-toned nose of zesty lemon peel, green orchard fruits, and a delicate hint of white blossom. On the palate, it has a bit more immediate flesh and approachability than SIlex and Pur Sang, balanced by a textbook crunch of stony minerality and a punchy, lime-driven acidity.
