Domaine du Météore is a unique Faugères estate located atop a 200 metre wide crater that was created when a meteorite crashed into the area 10,000 years ago. The low-yielding vines grow in rocky schist soils that force the roots to delve deep in search of nutrients and imbue the wines with pronounced minerality. Winemaking is low intervention with the domaine certified organic and working towards biodynamic certification. 

The Léonides Blanc is a blend of Vermentino, Clairette, Roussanne and Viognier directly pressed and fermented and aged in stainless steel. A delightfully mineral and textured wine with aromas of peaches and pears, wild fennel, cedar and citrus blossom.
