Laurent makes archetypal Chablis – classic, tensile, ages beautifully and is utterly brilliant. Farming is done sustainably, and in the winery all wines are aged in old (with 10% new) oak barrels, adding body and character to his wines. 

The Côte de Léchet is an absolute powerhouse of a Premier Cru grown on a brutally steep, sun-drenched slope of pure, chalky Kimmeridgian limestone. On the nose it opens with an intense blast of salty lemon, crushed oyster shells, iodised sea spray, and a faint hint of green orchard fruit. On the palate, it is incredibly taut, laser-focused, and vibrating with a racy, thirst-quenching acidity.
