Domaine Overnoy Charmille
The first vines of Domaine Overnoy were planted in 1982 and the estate - organic since 2014 - is now run by Guillaume Overnoy, nephew of the legendary Pierre Overnoy. The vineyards are planted with the five main Jura grapes which are vinified in a stunning ancient underground cellar. Guillaume's inspiration naturally comes from his uncle who he consults with on a regular basis.
Charmille is Chardonnay from vines planted on red marl and aged for 21 months in a mix of 228 and 500 litre barriques. It's round and richly textured with exotic spice, caramelised pear and pastry aromas.
