Pierrick Bouley is a rising star in Burgundy, and while still in his late 20s, the superb quality of his wines means they are increasingly hard to source. In total Pierrick has 9 hectares, 6 of which are in Volnay, and the average vine age is over 60 years. He works with biodynamics with very low sulphur and the end product is elegant, ethereal wines with haunting aromatics and great finesse.

His Volnay is from all destemmed fruit with 10-20% aged in new oak. Explosive, concentrated red berry fruit with exotic spice and smoky bonfire notes and plenty of length on the finish. Top stuff.
