Henry Frédéric Roch was co-director at Domaine de la Romanée-Conti for many years before setting up Prieuré Roch in 1988 with the purchase of several vineyards in Vosne-Romanée from Romanée-Conti. This unrivalled pedigree, and the domaine's commitment to extremely low-yields and meticulous natural winemaking, has lead to Prieuré Roch attaining a cult status over the years, and deservedly so.

This is the Prieuré Roch Gamay from the blockbuster 2018 vintage. A heady, vividly aromatic wine with sweet, dark berry fruit, floral hints and a savoury forest floor character to the nicely concentrated palate.
